Sales are good. West Elm sales are better. And taking an extra 15% off all clearance items? Um, that's the best of all. Always terrific for clean, modern foundational pieces, the homewares store just keeps getting better and better with their collaborations, their limited edition lines, and their simple twists on the basics. Every time they release a new collection I fall a little more in lust.
When I got the West Elm sale email, I tried to resist clicking through, but the temptation was too great—and now I have a wishlist a mile long! A 5x8 of my favorite striped rug comes out to $155, which is insane 'cause it's 100% wool. The world's coolest bench, created in partnership with South African designer John Vogel, ends up being just $340. Oh man, I wanna make its curved wood frame mine!
Yet I'm only one girl with one small apartment. So in a textbook case of shopping vicariously through my blog, I've rounded up some of my favorites from the sale. Those white buckets (a ceramic riff on the classic metal florist's pail) might end up in my shopping cart, as may some wood and glass storage jars. Everything else is up for grabs...and I promise I won't judge if you (virtually) elbow others out of your path on your way to snap it all up!
