Woohoo! It's Friday! And what better way to start the day than with these bright and airy images from the glorious portfolio of photographer Reed Davis? I want to dive into this space, roll around in the sunlight like a cat soaking up the heat, take a nap on the floor while the morning drifts into afternoon and the afternoon drifts into evening...
Reed shoots such beautiful work. Often spotted in Better Homes and Gardens, as well as in catalogs for brands like Les Indiennes, his photos have an element of mystery, of the exotic, of the 'I don't care how much it costs, just get me on a plane and take me there now.' I can imagine the lounging and lazing that would take place in the room on the left; silk kimonos would definitely be required.
The dreaminess of Reed's work has me thinking of the weekend ahead. It holds a nice mix for me: a baseball game with my mom and the huz, a trip to the flea market, some time set aside to catch up on work emails, and perhaps brunch with my girls. How 'bout you--anything fun on the horizon?
