Remember when I swore that this was the only onesie you'd ever catch me in? Well, never let it be said that I am not open to change. Lauren Moffatt kindly sent this romper my way, and I'm now smitten with the style! Almost as professional as a dress but infinitely more playful; swingy yet sophisticated; and just perfect for a Saturday trip to the San Francisco Design Center.
I love the printed silk on this piece--a little bit nautical, a little bit 1940's housewife. So I took inspiration from both influences and teamed the romper with a braided belt, stacked heels and a bright scarf that I recently scored for $1 at the flea market. The braid is my amateur take on this amazing Hermes ad; you can find the how-to in the June issue of Allure.
In the fall I'll wear the romper with my favorite blazers, stockings, even knee high boots. But for now I'm reveling in the sunshine. Perhaps the only thing missing from this outfit is a tall, cool lemonade? Bring on summer!
Outfit: Gifted Lauren Moffatt romper, Banana Republic belt, Nine West shoes, Louis Vuitton bag, vintage scarf.
So adorable and chic! LOVE!

Wow where did you get that great looking belt?!? I have several belts in my closet that I just love because of their simplicity yet what they can do for an outfit! I get tons of compliments on them all the time as I'm sure you do as well!

Sometimes I think that our own offenses should seem so much less heinous than the offenses of others. I often feel confused.

Jimmy Choo's beginnings can be traced back to his workshop in London Borough of Hackney, North London, which he opened in 1986 by renting an old hospital building.
