Remember last week when I talked about collecting by color? That was mostly a thinly veiled attempt to justify my own tendency to buy little pink tchotchkes wherever I go. And frankly, I'm feeling pretty good about that tendency, because now I have a budding collection on my hands!
Other than the unifying hue, there's no rhyme or reason behind these acquisitions; a Royal Haeger platter meets a Michael Ruh mallet vase, which in turn rubs elbows with a footed Lenox candy dish an exquisite tea cup of unknown origin. Of course it helps that my walls are also pink...a sign perhaps that I love this color more than I'd care to admit?
P.S. There's still time to enter today's Valentine's Day stationery giveaway!

Ooooh, it's so pretty and now you've given me an idea to start... but with 3 men in house, they'll be smothered with sweetness. So, guess I'll have to pick another colour to start my collection. With mainly earth tones furnishings, perhaps I'll now start looking at a 'Gold' theme? What do you think would be a better neutral yet stunning and 'easy to collect' colour for me to embark on?

Haha! I thought this was going to be a shrine to Pink, the singer. (for her awesome Grammy performance)

I love your blog and I think you write about great topics. I wish you would use larger type. It is very difficult to read. Just a suggestion.

I am not usually a pink person, but I'm absolutely loving the candy dish and tea cup on your mantle. I feel a thrift store trip in my near future...

I feel absolutely no shame in my love of all things pink. Hot, pale, soft. Whatever. Pink is awesome. As are all of your treasures.

Every body remembers that our life is expensive, however we need cash for various issues and not every man gets big sums money. Thus to get good business loans or just college loan will be a right solution.
