Voila: the second installment of this morning's Getaway Get-the-Look. The sensibility is rustic and rural, with plenty of girly, nostalgic touches. It's Gibson Girl Goes to the Farm!
A wrought iron bed beckons from beneath a homespun quilt in shades of posy pink and stoneware blue. Rough and tumble details--a worn leather chair, a cow pillow, and a (faux) zebra rug--say 'Come in and put yer boots up!' The floor lamp, mirror, baskets and chest of drawers channel country chic, while mix-n-match hardware is like jewelry for your furniture. Finally, flowers in a vase and on the wall are a must for any cozy Texas interior!

I love when you do this. So amazing. I feel in love with all the inspiration shots first and then wanted to move into the room you put together. Just lovely.

The wall with all the keys is incredibly cool! The collage is really well put together, as always. It must take a lot of time. Hope you'll want to keep doing these things!

I love the key wall! It's been awhile since I was in Texas hill country - but I have so many good memories of wandering through cute antique stores there. The key wall reminds me of them!

Oh, love it Anne! I tend to not love rustic pieces (as I am overwhelmed with the here in Wyoming) but these are all such lovely and softer ways to add a little rustic charm to a room.

This is so amazing! Are you in Texas! I grew up in the Texas Hill country, Fredericksburg, actually and grew up around Carol Hicks Bolton, Homestead and the burgeoning of this fab tab style.
Im encouraged that people are still into this. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

I like the dreams of the future better than the history of the past.
