Welcome to yet another edition of Chairs of the World. Our subject today? The Panton Chair. This sleek yet slow-moving creature is known for its adaptability; found in regions all over the planet, its peaceful nature results in harmonious relationships with humans and other animals alike. Come with me as we track this gentle giant.
Much as elephants gather at the watering hole, the Panton can often be spotted around the table. Their tendency to travel in herds of four or six allows for safety and comfort in even the most adverse climes.
The shining coat of this specimen indicates robust health and excellent grooming habits. This proud and confident individual is not afraid to co-exist with furniture from the traditional end of the spectrum, and it easily holds its own amongst a tufted armchair and exotic table.
The Panton's quiet ways make it an ideal companion for humans of all ages. A bright green hide will win over even the shyest of children. But can it convince them to sit still and do their homework?
Here we see a trio of hatchlings being trained for service; conditioning them at an early age will guarantee that they have a long and happy life of loyal service.
What's this? A Panton impostor? Or perhaps the demanding conditions of a bathroom environment have led to a rare genetic variation? Clearly more research on this front is needed.
Finally, a prime example of the Panton's congenial personality. What other creature in your knowledge could convene with so many varied species and still look fabulous?

A perrenial favorite! I love them all, big and small. We have a duo of white-hued Pantons in our breakfast area and they really are so great to have in a household of children. So easy to clean and light enough for even the youngest to scoot around. My husband uses one for his office chair, in a cheery orange and it really is comfortable enough to sit in all day! Great post, Anne.

I enjoyed reading your post, you are a great writer and I love those chairs.
I once saw a version of this chair as a woman squatting, if I find it I will send our way.

Anne, this was fun! And image 4 is much like my dining and living room(the fireplace, the silver tray and pedestal table...minus the chairs). I have been thinking about how the chairs would look with my pedestal table and pic 4 says it all.

Oh, the "Potato-Chip" Patton chair!
I have soft pine wood floors and every chair leg poses a threat, except for this one.
These need to be my new kitchen chairs, and out door chairs, and then both.
Be well. Live well.

My white Panton is one of my favorite things. People always ask if it's comfortable and you know, it is!

How can I capture one?
The only way I know is to leave several hundred dollars in the middle of a very large net. Wish nuts and seeds worked as well.
