The wedding was almost a week ago and I've been avoiding posting about it because I'm loathe to admit that it's really over. But there are so many photos to admire---our visionary photographer Anna Kilbridge took over 4000!---and so many brilliant details to reminisce about that there is certainly no shortage of memories! All of the pics in this post are from the lens of my brother-in-law James...
After the ceremony at Trinity Episcopal Church in San Francisco we all went to the Sears Diner for Swedish Pancakes. With everyone showing up in their formal clothes---and me in my dress and veil!---it was exactly the juxtaposition of formal and chaotic that I hoped to create. And I love this image of my bouquet (a work of art from the incredibly talented Karen Axel of Tapestry Flowers) on the table amongst the jam and maple syrup!
My beautiful maids and flower girl---all in dresses by Jenny Yoo in New York. Don't they look lovely? I'll have more on their gowns as well as mine (a divine Reem Acra!) coming up.
Finally, my handsome groom and his gents (minus the Best Man, who was behind the camera here). We went to Fort Point at the base of the Golden Gate Bridge for a photo shoot. The wind was doing amazing things that day, and the dappled sunlight was magical. I can't wait to share how those pics turn out!
Stay tuned for all the info on the ceremony, the flowers, the favours, the food, and more! Because even though it will be impossible to put such a perfect day into words and pictures, that won't stop me from trying!
