It's been nearly a month since the wedding and I'm still suffering from complete post-wedding withdrawal. So here's an inspiration board that I put together to get my "fix"!
I imagine this event as an evening cocktail reception held in an urban factory loft turned Belle Epoque restaurant. It's warm and sophisticated, steeped in the golden glow of chandelier light, with plenty of unabashedly feminine touches for her---lace!---and masculine touches for him---cigar, anyone? This one doesn't even have to be a wedding; it could be an engagement party, an anniversary party, a thank-God-it's-Wednesday party!

Gorgeous. I loved planning for my wedding (both of them :)

Isn't the planning 99.9% as fun as the wedding itself? I'm currently on the lookout for a bride-to-be who has no interest in planning the wedding herself, so I can cozy up to her and be her new best friend ;)

Love the idea of chocolate and blackberry. I never would of thought of that combination but you created an inspiration board so nicely.

Thanks Laura- though I have to give credit for the idea of chocolate and blackberry to the photo in the top row----that was the image that sparked the whole thing. Doesn't it look delicious? :)
